Thanks for the definition, Tootler. I am now faffing about playing the piece on my fretted dulcimer.

I have discovered that even though it's a world-famous piece of high-toned classical music, that it has something of the structure of a jig or reel. i.e., the A part is lyrical and the B part is twiddley. Since the A part is major, the B part begins with a minor passage. Then it returns to the major to end.

One way it differs is that the piece is 68 bars long. Unusual. Probably a 12-bar phrase in there somewhere.
