How DID I miss seeing this thread before? The HMF was and still is just about my favorite BG/OT group ever, and yes, I do have all of those albums on Vetco and Flying Fish.

Somehow I managed to miss them when they were at the Focal Point in Webster Groves, MO, so when they were scheduled at a festival not too far away, I swore I was going to get to hear them for sure.

To cut the sad, long story short, I arrived at the festival . . . just . . . after . . . they . . . left!   I never got the chance again. Getting to see Buck White and the Down Home Folks when both Ricky Skaggs and Jerry Douglas were playing with them was not nearly enough consolation for having missed the chance of a lifetime as it turned out.

I also missed Dry Branch a couple of times . . .
