I second the idea that an album coming out of this tour would be a lovely thing. Last September I hosted Deb & John in a house concert, when they were traveling together to the Fox Valley Folk Fest.

They played the house concert in a workshop sort of style, alternating turns and responding to each other, pulling things out of the back catalog because it seemed like a good follow-up. It was a brilliant evening, and they complement each other beautifully. After years of hearing John mostly as part of 2 or 4 male voices, the songs he did together with Deb had a lovely new feel to them- giving you a chance to hear old songs with new ears.

I also had the great craic of watching them trade songs late into the night at festival party (I have photo documentation...) and that only reinforces the idea that these two together, especially after touring as a duo, would have worked up some great bits together. Put me down for two copies of the album, please.
