Damn... Emma... were you there? why was there not a mudgather at Sidmouth?

I wanted to do the delta blues and bodhran for beginners workshops, oh and harmony singing, but alas I was stewarding when they were on.

I have Eliza Carthy's autograph on my programme from Wednesday performance Yorkshire Born and Yorkshire Bred in Arts Centre (part of the Manor Pavilion). We were stewarding this event and turned about 30 season pass holders and would be on the door ticket purchasers away. There were some complaints about it not having advanced ticket purchase option. After listening at door and windows I understand why. It was wonderful and I think even better than the Carthy and Rose (Saul) at the Ham, though it was great. Eliza Carthy is as much fun to watch (her whole body gets into the singing and playing) as she is thrilling to hear.
