In collge we found a stream of waterfalls and whirlpools that were so polished that we could slide down the slate streams that we could slide for dozens of yards at a time in the shallow water coating the slate that looked like ripples of of water themselves.

Going over the falls like a slip n'slide was fun but the whirlpools are to be avoided. I think they connected to caverns.


Sliding slate naked was rather pleasant.
