been meaning to post this for awhile....here are 2 little freeware program that will calculate various relationships between string tension, string materials and lengths....and one will play several octaves of tones too!I thought that #1 was just a newer version, but they seem to be written by two different people and have some different settings...hope they are useful to some of you builders and players.
