Of that lot, only Alice The Roberts & unThanks get anywhere my particular idea of what folk is (shh!). midlake sound like the eagles, Trembling Bells are a joke college rock band from 1970, Yorkston is an ok singer songwriter and Marling a not yet ok singer songwriter. I'd like to see the full article but it sounds like a very obtuse bunch to choose. Where art thou' Bilbo & The Baggins, Low!, Jam Morey, Geoffrey-with-Beard, etc etc etc
