Browsing an old folder of lyrics recently ( hand written, pre PC ) I realised how many songs done in the distant past, I simple can't recall, tune, timing, context etc.

Is there a cure for this - is it inevitable that learning new material erases songs and tunes beyond a certain vintage.

I eat my greens and change my strings regularly - what's happening?
