"brain seems to have room for only 10-15 songs at a time"

My limit seems to be about 3 tunes without the cheat sheets (mainly either an instrumentalist OR a singer - that's me...) .... if I just sit down and start noodling, I can recall large numbers of tunes - but I prefer to be a little more rehearsed if trying for a 'performance'...
