Well, well, well. Great winter here last year. Mild and short. Early spring. Moderately hot and muggy summer so far. By that, I mean, it's been nasty hot for not ALL that long.

But, after the last full moon, the change to a few HOT days and a few okay days has been noted. The clouds have changed to "fall looking" a lot of the time on the northerly winds.

About a week ago, the hummingbirds, which have not been around much, have been around and feeding voraciuosly.

For about a week, the crows have been screeching en masse before daylight.

And, today, there was/is a large flock of blackbirds in my yard. Blackbirds flocked on August 15. Early winter and a bad one coming up?
