Hello everyone,

"Write a Lincolnshire Folk Song Competition" is back

after an enforced absence the competion is back sponsored by Heritage Trust of Lincolnshire , and was launched yesterday at the event at Leadenham - it was a great day for those of you who missed it.

I have application forms if any one wants them, they will be at the club in September.

Short listed songs will be performed and the winners chosen at a special concert Spilsby Theatre Thursday November 25th 2010, the 10 shortlisted songs will be recorded by BBC Radio Lincolnshire for Broadcast
To comply with the spirit of the event the song must be new and must not have appreared previously on commercial available recording and must be under 4 mins long.
