I worked in grocery stores from about 16 to age 25... Not everyone flies, but 'almost' everyone goes to grocery stores. Fortunately, they don't stay for hours...but UNfortunately, they come back regularly.

One of the most interesting stories was a little old woman who owned one of the two largest department stores in town. She had a green Cadillac and a small, wizened black chauffeur. I watched one days as they drove up, parked in the handicapped zone, and the little guy trooped in, went to the produce dept, picked out ONE avocado, went to the counter and mumbled something, then took the avocado out to the car where she rolled down the window a ways, 'examined' the avocado, shook her head 'no', and sent him BACK in to find a better avocado. It took 3 trips. The little man never smiled....
   I expect YOU have seen similar women, who had no chauffeurs, squeeze an entire table of avocados...or peaches...etc. People do strange things.
