The last COMBAT brigade has left, except for a few hundred logistics and admin mop-uppers. That does not mean all our contractors, trainers, administrative troops, etc. have left.
But it is a huge step ahead. Seven long years, and 4400 US men dead, untold civilians, and gawd knows how many whose lives were ruined or who were driven mad through fear, injury, and traumatic stress.
