Stan Rogers says in the "Mary Ellen Carter" "turn to(or two)and put out all your strength." I was in the navy and when it was time to go to work you would put up two fingers and twist them to let the others know. Does anyone kwow where or how this term originated. I've heard it was turn toward the wind. By the way the Hogeye thread was really interesting.
