Nah, John... I think we have 25% agreement... Malcolm's death, though robbin' US of a man who was on the cusp of becoming a mega-national leader for "all" of US on the left, I don't believe to be part of the right wing assasination conspiracy... That leaves John, Martin and Bobby who the right wing considered to be dangerous and were taken out as part of a rightwing conspiracy to try to stop the progressive movement... And it worked just like ***they*** drew it up on paper...

BTW, historians may never cut thru the layers of stories and mythology to finger the people who were part of this conspiracy but my suspisions are that these folks were well acqauinted with the Heritage Foundation, which BTW, had many former European Nazi sympathizers in its ranks...

The point is, howver, that these assasination had a chilling effect on the progressive/civilrights/antiwar movement...

The second point is that these assasinations were part os a straegy to reel in progressives and if it worked back then I think it woud have a very sobering effect on those people amoung US that are propagating hatred of groups of people based on ethnicity, racism and outright lies... Their agenda is clear... They hate the New Deal and they want to tear it down brick by brick... Then they will go after the civil rights act... Heck, they are allready talkin' about wanting to alter the 1st and 14th ammendments...

Yeah, take out the people who are the most public in propagating these attitudes and sunsequent anti-socail behaviors and I reckon that folks wouldn't think it's perfectly okay to take a gun to a ralley where a black president is to speak or to knowingly spread lies about his citizenship or religious beliefs...

For the life of me I can't see any other way that borish rednecks can be brought to think "cause 'n effect" as long as they are getting away with treasonous behavior...
