Camper is finally clean and semi-packed. Lists keep getting longer as to what to take and what to grocery-shop for. There are towering piles of "stuff" in the dining room. And I caught our "little" cat Vinnie playing with a (very) dead mouse on our bed yesterday.

Other than that, everything is going smoothly...

Murray, please be assured that even in the badlands, Winfield is a great time--even when you don't compete in the contests. You could always be a campground picking hero, after all.

Bill D., I tried and tried to steer Google Earth down "our" road at winfield, but it just wouldn't turn. Figures--everybody ignores the Pecan Grove except the pecanners who wouldn't camp anywhere else! Anyway, it was fun to see the campground from a bird's-eye view, and I did find a photo of a couple of good friends standing in the street (not an unusual thing for either of them). Hope you enjoyed your tour, too.
