The Deal Maritime Festival will not be happening as such this year - the organisers are 'taking a break' so their website seays.

However, a 'number of individuals' have expressed an interest in making things happen, at least informally. Could anyone out their identify whom? (It's either that or finding a football match for me to watch that weekend!) It would be nice to see my good friends from the Deal Hoodeners once more, albeit out of season!
