Yeah, I see what you mean Ebbie. Depends on how you go about it though I'd think. Salads *can* incorporate protein foods like seeds, nuts, cheese and eggs - within reason of course. Tofu too, sits well in oriental salads and soups. We only actually need about 1oz of protein a day, which approximately equals one boiled egg, or the same weight in cottage cheese. I definitely won't be living on bowls of lettuce and tins of Heinz anyway :) Hopefully quite the opposite, as I want to really explore the options that such a diet offers, while being judicious with fats of course.
Funny PDQ, I thought this plan was common sense! It apealed to me anyway because I get bored with weighing this and that and counting calories! Anyhoo, if this thread goes dead in the next few weeks, maybe you'll be proved right! We'll see ;-)
