The philtrum, that little indentation under your nose is sometimes called God' Thumbprint. I remember quite a few years ago reading that it is the one thing that parental alcohol use will affect in fetal developement. I can't remember if it is just mom or both parents, either/or, who contribute to the phenomenon nor exactly how much alcohol must be involoved but supposedly the children of such parents have little or no indentation.

This is a question you can answer for yourself, of course. If neither parent drank or drank moderately you should have a well defined philtrum. If you don't then the claim appears bogus. And vice versa. Without saying which is which, in my case, it's true. How about you?
