UH, In case you hadn't noticed or failed to read the opening volley, I did not refer to Wikki-quickki at all. I was drawing from memory of an actual study that probably took place in the mid to late 70's (that alone may make it suspect!).
I also remember reading that folks with more than three creases in their earlobe (right or left?) were 50% more lkely to have a heart attack than those without creases. Hmmm? You might just figure that folks with three or more creases in their earlobes are thirty to forty years older than folks without and therefor 50% mor likely to have a heart attack at any rate!
For the same reason that scientists must duplicate the results of an experiment one should always have at least two different sources to confirm an assertion (appeal to populace?). Even the Mosaic law demands at least two witnesses to substantiate a charge!
Just thought I'd throw out an interesting tid-bit from the long ago. I'd drink to that! And what's more some of you have now added the word "philtrum" to your vocabulary!
