In the low-population rural environment, where one's water comes from mountaintop springs, groundwater can stand a little judicious disposal of unwanted pills.

So-- as of today I declutter my daily prescription & supplelments & OTC operation. In an effort to save pennies, I have at least four large Ziplocs full of pill bottles! I also have a small handful of loose pills found in various vacay bags I have been cleaning out. I am throwing out the loose pills-- flushing into the septic tank for earth filtering. The bottles are next-- expired items, almost-empties, etc etc etc-- sort and purge!

And no more splitting pills the doc decides he wants me to tinker with, to get 5's out of 10's, etc.. We have pretty good drug benefits-- best part of our bennies in fact. Try a new item? Scrip me for 14 days then, locally, and THEN if it works we'll do the 90 day by mail extra-cheap, cuz SHEESHE, this shite piles up!
