Thanks for the good laugh, gnu!

I have a co-worker who has been on a diet for many months now. Ages ago I blocked his facebook feed because that was all he ever seemed to write about. But the other day I realized that as heavy as he still is, he has probably taken off about 100 pounds. If he manages to take off all of that weight and look like the college photo he has on his facebook page I think he'll be a lot happier and a whole lot healthier.

I'm working on about 40 pounds that crept on while I was struggling with the mix in my HRT over the last couple of years. I haven't been as active because I've been less energetic when I weigh more. As it cools a bit this time of year I've been able to take the dogs out for more walks, and walk more comfortably across campus. When you're going to work and you spend much time out in the really high heat you just don't feel real professional when you walk in drenched in sweat. That'll be less of a problem now.

Good luck, all!
