This guy had an apartment on Pennsylvania Ave recently just several blocks from the White House. But when he was arrested for disturbing the peace outside the Discovery building back in 2008 he said he was homeless. He demonstrated in 2008 12 hours a day for a week.
On the last day he threw several hundred dollars in 5's and 10's high into the air that caused a crowd to go wild chasing the blowing money. He said he wanted more attention.

I have not heard if there was any evidence of a real bomb or even a real gun in today's incident. Suicide by cop is something depressed people do.

No reporter either heard a shot or saw police enter the building in the 3 hour ordeal. When told it was all resolved and the gunman was shot with all hostages safe, the 30 reporters audibly gasped in complete surprise. I guess the cops went through the basement.
