Nice Austin, Newporter... I was thinking it would look more like a Princess (taxi) rather than a roadster...

I had a 60 VW Panel, Bill... Had doors on both sides and what is known as a rear "barn door"... I drove it for about 10 years but with a 1776 Cu.In. engine and 2 barrel Holley so it had some decent power... I also was racing my '65 VW Karmann Ghia mini-stocker and used the bus to pull the race car (on trailer) to the race track...

Sold it to a boy near Winchester right around Gulf I war and he camo'e it in Desert Strom colors and still drives it to shows... Thought about it this mornin' becayse today is the Bug Out at Manassass Speedway and he drives it there just about every year... When I sold it to him it was with an understanding that if he ever tires of it, he'll give me first shot at buying it back... Don't think I need it any more...
