My DH Hunt and I have a southern US tour planned for this coming January, 2011. So far we have the following dates and places:
1/11 school program in Bradenton, FL
1/20 concert at a college in north GA
1/22 contra dance in Brasstown, NC
1/28 school program in Baltimore, MD

We'd love a few more, like in Fla/GA between 1/12 and 1/19, and between NC and MD between say, 1/25-1/27 (we have family obligations in NC thru the weekend).

I have my own sources, but would love to hear ideas (invitations?!) from Mudcatters.

We specialize in traditional New England music. This fall we are part of the Boston University ethnomusicology lecture series, and will be adapting our program, "Dancing, Sedition, and Maple Syrup, the Musical Roots of Old New England" for the some of the programs in the list above. It would be fun to turn part of this trip into a Mudcat tour! We'll be needing to make a little money, but some of our days can be spent visiting and schmoozing and singing and playing as well. Let me know if you have any suggestions! Thanks!
