Thanks, Alice, I thought the bears were just showing up more because we've been encroaching on their space. Never thought of the relation to the pine nut. My son has one which checks the garbage area in the RV/cabin place he is care-taking. He's careful to be sure everything is locked up, but last night one came knocking at his door. Apparently some child left a candy wrapper out and it was attracted. It ran off a soon as he got up to open the door to see what his cat was growling at!

I sent off eight books, today, have one more requested and two on hold while folks who had them on their "wish" lists decide if they want them or not. Makes me think I maybe should have sold those particular ones as they were not as common. Oh, well. I also started on listing the books. Found three that aren't worth it, so they went in a give-away box; three will be listed, not sure where, yet, and the other is a huge old book from 1884. I am not sure I want to sell it, even though it's retailing at around $89. It's a fun reference and I think, if I had a handheld scanner, I could save it to PDF and keep a copy on disc, maybe even make them available for a small fee. There's a company in Canada which does that with old genealogy reference books. I actually added something called Irish Astronomy which I found in it. I see I did not cite the author/compiler of the book, just the copyright person. The author was James D. McCabe.

I think this book was an exception. Most of the ones we have gone through to sell I am ready to let go...honest.:-)
