One of the things I adored about my Triumph 2000 is that it loved to go really fast, but it had a body shape that was, at a glance, so much like a bottom-of-the-line Datsun that it didn't LOOK like it was going fast.
I never got a ticket in that car, despite the odd 95-mile-an-hour adventure. And 95 was nowhere near the top of its potential, I'm sure. Ah, Aengus, I do miss you...
It also had lovely comfy velvety seats, the front ones of which folded down totally flus with the back seat to make a quite comfy double bed. Great for camping (and drive-in movies). They don't make 'em like that anymore.
