Rowan told me a great story about what happened way back in the 70s/80s when he shaved his wild & woolly beard & cut his equally wild hair.

He got a floorspot at a regular folk club under another name & no-one recognised him, expect the person in the back who could only see his eyes & the top of his head! Tho some were listening to his concertina & wondering who it was.
