Good news in the Times today. The British government are to slash the "sickness benefit" or incapacity benefit budget by 2.5 billion.

Sadly the Labour government had a policy of handing out taxpayers money to a considerable amount of workshy individuals who made social welfare leeching a way of life.

The government should introduce a hefty tax on private landlords as they are creaming millions of the government in Social Security housing benefits. If someone chooses not to work for a living they should not be rewarded with a new house of their choice from letting agents, here in Glasgow there are plenty run down properties with outside toilets they can scrounge from.

At last we are seeing a government with teeth in the UK.
