First off, I AM fine...not planning on checking out for a long, long time, BUT I have finally done something I've been meaning to do for years. I have written a short message to be posted on the Mudcat in the event of my demise. I just wouldn't want to check out without telling you all how much I have loved being here.

So, I will forward a copy to my daughter and make sure Rog knows about it, too, to make sure it gets posted.

We had a thread, years ago, in which some of us agreed to be contact persons in case one of us became incapacitated and/or passed on. If anyone wants to write a "goodbye" post as I've done but are unsure of who might post it for them, I propose we offer that to one another.

I am aware some may find no need for this, but want to offer it for those of us who do. Thanks for your understanding.
