Olddude, the toy factories, many with illegal workplaces, are the ones with bad conditions, which are being rapidly improved as China restricts laissez faire procedures which bring condemnation and refusal of products from the West.

Foxconn, subsidiary of the Taiwan company, Hon Hai Precision, is raising wages at their factories. The basic salary at Foxconn is about $130 per month, which with the subsidized yuan, is not a bad wage in China.
