Amos, Book 4:

12 "Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel,
       and because I will do this to you,
       prepare to meet your God, O Israel."

13 He who forms the mountains,
       creates the wind,
       and reveals his thoughts to man,
       he who turns dawn to darkness,
       and treads the high places of the earth—
       the LORD God Almighty is his name.


Note that Rapaire is not even mentioned in there.

As for honoring the name of the place with its original name, that's a fine and high-minded justification, but it is equally true that you are being obscure intentionally under the guise of that excuse. This makes you look knowledgeable and wise, I suppose, or at least rude.

Have you considered putting in raised beds and domesticating your crop of wild referents?
