He's got a great voice, but I can't get by the voice in my head that keeps saying Michael Bolton, Michael Bolton. Not that as a person he is like Michael, but his voice and mannerism remind me of him.

I wish him well, but I don't think he's going to revert to Mississippi John soon. Does he even know any blues?
