Crow Sister, I don't think she was aiming at you, but she needs to learn something about dual citizenship and about regulations, and about monetary deductions and benefits of those who work or have worked both in and out of the U. S.
I can't see that the Protection Bureau does much to help the ignorant. It does not stop banks and loan companies from offering mortgages to those unable to pay- it only stops unexpected increases in rates but renewals will still be at whatever rate prevails at time of renewal. It cannot block existing high rates of credit card interest, but only bans unfair or unexpected hikes. Overdraft fees must be spelled out but are not limited or prohibited.
In other words, the unwary can still be trapped.
The most radical change brought in by the Dodd-Frank Bill is designed to bring derivatives into the exchanges, where they are visible- but can still be gambled with.
