A lot, Q... Think about it this way... There are tens of millions of American workers living just below the poverty line one promotion away from bustin' into the middle class from the bottom... Throw in these preditory lenders, which inspite of what you may want to be reality, and these folks are gettin' sucked dry... Even that promotion of pay raise won't cut into the massive debts that "payday lenders" are stickin' on our working poor...

And for the record, there ain't no other options... Yeah, there is talk of legislation that will correct these practices but as of today there isn't one bit of competition!!! How do you spell, "zero", Q???

That is reality... No fantasy here... Maybe you could write some US Senators and ask them to quit being part of the 400% APR rip-off...
