LOL, gnu!

There are lots of flocks of tame-lost-gone-wild PARAKEETS, etc. I first heard about them when we lived back East. This isn't the same bunch, but it seems the ones which get loose, somehow adapt, thrive and survive as much as any other smaller wild bird.
