I thought the point of the Bill of Rights was to correct the PROBLEMS of "majority rule"

And I do not see that locking the minority out of discussions is in any way trying to build a consensus, but that is just what the Democrats have done the last two years.

I hope YOU think it is OK when the Democrats are (back in) the minority, and the Republicans do what the Dems have demonstrated is "proper politics".
