What a great thread. I lost seven kilos in the last 10 months, and soup,salad and walking were the main causes.

Salads - I chop tofu (soaked in tamari or something) with crisp vegies (capsicum, celery) and various green bits - with lemon juice or cider vinegar, and seeds, nuts - they are great in summer.

beans, lentils, bread etc - during the day but not after 6pm.

I make soups on the weekend and feeze in containers for nights when i'm too tired to cook - two or three green veg (broccholi, asparagus, celery)+ sweet potato (low GI) cooked and blended with powdered vegi stock.
