It's been months since I've visited Mudcat. Feels good to be looking at the threads again.

I want to play a song for my 9th grades, one I have on tape but I'm uncertain about a one word near the opening and I don't know the writer or singer. Probably the same female person. I recorded it off the radio in 1994:

"Someone waits for me"

Beyond these present storm black ___________ waiting patiently.
No secrets held in an open _______________
A spirit that soars over mountains,
Somewhere along the road, someone waits for me.
