Michelle, you do know how to torture us, describing that municipal sale! I love those things. As you say, it's the hunt.

I had Kelty packs over the years. My old backpack is still in the garage, hanging up to keep critters out of it. And I had one for the kids, a lighter one, without the stuff on top. I was able to carry them in it until they were about 3 years old.

I went to hear Ken Burns speak tonight on campus in an ongoing lecture series, and they did something different, they had a radio host, my favorite local host from the NPR station, come over and interview him. Once I knew she was in there I knew it would be a great talk. I thought he'd be good on his own, but she asks the smart questions I would want to ask myself.

I had dinner before I went over, and I have backslid this evening, I picked up a pint of Blue Bell ice cream. Moo-llennium Crunch. My spell check may not like the name, but I do. :) Gotta mow tomorrow, burn off the calories.
