It's been a busy day here on the farm.

Dishes done and put away, several loads of laundry done, sweeping almost complete and a loaf of honey oatmeal apple raisin bread is baking away.

I was the one who had asked for the pita bread recipe...Pete loves to take olives, feta cheese and pitas to work for is lunch. I'm sure he'd like it even better if they were homemade and he knew more about what was in them (especially NO CORN SYRUP!). The tortillas look simple enough and I'll make a point to try them later this week.

Pete just came in from working outside....digging up potatoes (Yukon Golds) and moving some larger bales of hay closer to the steer. We had some time out on the porch too but it's getting chilly and Jeremiah's little legs were getting cold as were my arms. While we were relaxing I also brushed the dogs. Maggie is finally slowing down in the shedding department...thank goodness!! Too bad I can't sell her fur on Etsy to be used for spinning or something!! I'd be a rich woman!

On to coupon clipping and grocery list making.
