I never heard of this song and I hope Johnny Cash didn't record "Flushed From the Bathroom of Your Heart". It is not on my list of the stupidest country song titles so I hope it really never existed. But the tune is another thing. It has been around forever and is beautiful. I am trying to think of some other songs that use it. There are several. But the "Great Speckled Bird" is the best. The theology in the song may be a little skewed but the spirit is there. Can anyone identify the source of the words to the "Great Speckled Bird" and who recorded it first?
