There was a band playing in a pub on the Isle of Wight 1994, I'd gone there with my son to drown my sorrows over the accidental death of my cat. We hadn't long moved there so I was particularly upset about it. Anyway a long haired man came in and I just had to say something, something made me want to stop him for that moment so I asked him the time, the band was due on at 9 and I wanted to plan the last bus home. After a while he sat on the corner of the table with his drink and I thought he was giving me a chat up line about astrology asking me what star sign I was. He went on to say that he drew up astrological charts and lo and behold he had these charts in his pocket he really meant it. After a while he asked me to mind his drink for 5 minutes (while he went to tell his friends about me on another table). And that was that, the beginning of a long wonderful relationship. I moved back to Bristol in 1997 but our friendship is as strong as ever, he is more than a boyfriend he is my very best friend and soul mate. We now travel around lot on his motorbike seeking new places, he comes over to me and we go out and about and have some great adventures. I will never regret asking him the time that night.
