In the rabble singing the chorus harmonies at the back of Cheddar Folk Club.
I noticed this attractive lady who appeared to have come to the club with a mutual friend. I asked the friend about her and was told a few pertinent facts, such as she was a widow with three primary school age children who was just getting back into social life.
I dimly remembered her being there in the past with her deceased husband.
Being widowed myself I though that perhaps she would like to compare notes.
Seeing as she was looking more attractive by the minute I found myself asking if I could get her anything; tea, coffee, pregnant?
