Well I spent a year at college in Dudley and I thought Banks's bitter and Holden's Golden were brilliant. That was early 70s. Can you still get 'em? At least the bar at the then Dudley College of Ed had Newcastle Exhibition, which was an agreeable brew I seem to recall and it was 13p a pint. I don't know why I'm telling anyone this.
