I remember Younger's Tartan when it first appeared in Sandy Bell's. Originally we had the three founts - Light, Heavy and Special. Then the Special Fount was removed and replaced with this shiny new thing that said Younger's Special on it. A few months later the word "Tartan" appeared in small letters, which slowly became bigger over time as the "Special" got smaller. The founts have gone from Bell's now and been replaced by hand pumps, so if you want Scottish real ale tasting as it should you have to go to the Royal Oak (Deuchar's IPA and a guest).
