Well it began as a "normal" ride home but this time with with KT in the passenger seat. As we headed to her friends on the Jersey shore the rain got increasingly strong as the sun went low.... by the time we reached Mantoloking the were heavy winds and coastal flooding advisories so it took very little arm twisting before my boss got a text saying it just wasn't safe for me to continue on home.... I'd really try to be there sometime after lunch..... It was one more amazing moment on an amazing journey.... we stood in the storm and then sat by the roaring fire and told Getaway stories to convince our hosts to join us next year...

I'm still in the daze stage having been in the house only little more than an hour, but this was truly one of the amazing times.... I'm not sure I've ever had as little sleep as I did at this Getaway night after night the Peace cabin may not have been quiet but the music surrounded sustained and plain knocked your socks right off time and time again.

The hugs and stories and songs shared all around and the harmonies.... even in the snoring counterpoints ( no names)
