The whole problem is their size.A Grand piano is a lovely instrument and wonderful to look at, but you need a Georgian House with a large room to set it off and give you room to walk past it.Even an upright needs a bit of space with a stool in front of it. In these times for minimalistic appearances (not my choice ) people are going for an expanse of nothing but the bare essentials.In some houses if you stand still long enough you are dropped of at the local tip.
