Sounds like a great soup, SRS. Our best turkey soup ever was turkey, black beans, and mushrooms.

I am still processing the fact that I no longer have to take the Clonidine. Now that it is leaving my system and key functions return, it's clearer how really bad it was. I'm very grateful to the friends who stuck with me and rode out September. They know who they are.

I'm also grateful that the discussion about it with the doc resulted in a communications agreement so that a longterm med trial like that never goes that badly again.... mostly this involved my being more of a PIA and him listening even better than he already did. And I do have a voice recorder I can take to appts to preserve and review his sometimes very fast, rapid-fire way of communicating instructions.

He's a young doc, and sometimes I have to pull geezer rank to slow things down to genius speed instead of warp-drive speed. Hardi sez when he sits in on my appts that it's like being caught between two tornadoes, the way our brains link and go into short=hand mode.

One way I can handle that phenomenon is to sit in the waiting room for a few minutes after the appt to see if any lingering questions come up. So they don't hit me at bedtime after I rush home to resume the afternoon's ministry commitments.

Today begins the next drug. AMs only.
