Too bad this discussion has focused on the engine rather than the music. I'd say this thread belongs in the music section. I think the idea of playing along with an engine providing "serendipitous percussion" is brilliant.

In fact, there is a bar and resort near Webster, WI that has a country-music jam every weekend in summer: Log Cabin Hollow. They sponsored a float in the very same parade I mentioned earlier, featuring some of their regular jammers. I'm going to suggest they team up with the tractor next year!
